Crack Injection

introduction

Adrian Queally Ltd (AQL) has extensive specialist training, experience and knowledge in high performance leak sealing injection technologies, applicators and materials. Crack Injection is also known as Concrete Injection or Resin Injection and we use products of the highest specification available and adhere to best international standards. In every project we use our experience and expertise to select the most appropriate epoxy crack injection resin, and applicators. The onsite conditions we offer solutions for include:

• Damp, underwater and dry conditions

• Structural and non-structural requirements

• Low and high application temperatures

• Low pressure injection with high flowability/viscosity

• High pressure injection with low flowability/viscosity

• High structure temperatures

• Chemical resistance

• Radiation resistance

• Large voids, narrow cracks and cracks where the backside cannot be sealed

• Wooden beams

• Concrete is of a low compressive strength

• Rapid setting

FAQs

Crack injection is a method of pumping resin into concrete using a pressurised machine. Once the resin comes into contact with any sort of moisture it begins to swell and become hard filling even the smallest of voids. Crack Injection has multiple different names including resin injection, concrete injection, leak sealing injection.

Crack injection can be used to seal leaks in concrete no matter the pressure or velocity it is penetrating at. This leaking sealing injection is ideal for concrete which has both small and big cracks, leaking joints, leaking around pipe penetrations, active leaks and rising damp.

AQL offer active leak stopping solutions to stop water egress from tanks and any other structure. Resin crack injection is a method we would use to stop a leak in a tank. This involves pump resin through a pneumatic machine that swells in the presence of water or moisture, forming a seal.
