Confined Space Crews

 A confined space is an enclosed or semi enclosed space with limited space and access. These spaces may contain extreme hazards such as deficient oxygen, flammable substances and vapours, along with toxic gases. These spaces are not designed for continuous occupancy and refers to structures such as vessels, tanks, chamber, cellars, pits, bunds, tunnels and similar. Confined space should never be entered without the specialised training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Only personnel who have completed confined space training can enter confined spaces, no exceptions. Strict protocols must be followed and specialised Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn, along with task specific rescue equipment and Breathing Apparatus (BA) to ensure safety. Confined spaces are divided into low, medium and high risk confined spaces, the training is divided the same way. At Adrian Queally Ltd personnel are trained for High Risk Confined Spaces, meaning operatives can enter any confined space.
