Traditional methods of concrete removal and surface preparation can cause severe damage and vibrations to structures. AQL are specialists in Hydro-Demolition/ Hydro-Blasting which allows the desired areas of concrete to be removed using ultra high pressures of water, without causing additional damage to the structure, while also leaving the rebar unaffected.

Hydro-Demolition is achieved by jetting water at Ultra high pressure reaching nearly 20,000 PSI where appropriate. High pressure water blasting can also be used to remove coatings, concrete, unwanted contaminates and prepare a surface for new coatings. This method leaves an optimal surface for products to bond to. Hydro-Demolition achieves this without any vibrations or damage to rebar making it an ideal solution for delicate structures, such as post tensioned concrete.

Operatives of the Hydro-Jetting equipment are highly trained and highly experienced.
